1) Not Sleeping Enough -- If you don't get enough sleep, your immune system gets thrown for a loop and you set yourself up for illness. According to a recent study, if you sleep less than seven hours a night, you are up to three times more likely to catch a cold.
2) Skipping Breakfast -- When you blow off breakfast, hunger hormones go berserk and you end up pigging out on junk food later. Empty calories might fill you up, but they don't have any nutritional value, which makes you fat.
3) Laying Around All Day -- While spending a lazy day on the sofa may not seem evil to you, your body hates it and takes revenge by messing with your blood sugar in a big way.
4) Being Angry -- Maybe your wife or girlfriend was nagging at you all weekend. Or, your favorite team lost the game you were watching. Should you be angry? Sure. But, the sooner you can chill out and find your happy place, the sooner you get rid of stress hormones that are messing with your heart health.
